This is the Purple Haze

This was along build. In all it took over a year to complete, in part because I spent a lot of time teaching Josh about the mysteries of wood and the joy of guitar building. It was incredibly fun to build a guitar with my son, and to see him sit down and play it when we finished, and I hope you've enjoyed seeing our progress. Purple Haze

• Built in a traditional Les Paul style. Single cut with hand-carved top.
• Mahogany body and neck, Maple top, Purpleheart fretboard
• Dual humbuckers are Rolling Mill pickups from Iron Gear, UK
• The distressed purple color was custom-mixed and hand applied in the CalStyle shop with seven coats of nitrocellulose clear
• The hawk and three spears headstock decoration was custom designed in-house.
